Here in Hong Kong where Dale and I store our extra socks, there is a commercial on the BBC run by Standard Charter Bank which caught my eye as advertising is supposed to do.  The ad shows a well known Ethiopian runner who had become blind, but who was continuing to run and to win marathons thanks to another runner who ran alongside him ~ their wrists strapped together.  The ad reads: "He never lost heart with his partner always beside him!  "Partnerships Change Lives!"  The music playing in the background was "Amazing Grace."

How are you doing in communicating your appreciation and gratitude to your supporters?  Many of you are in the midst of your summer or winter (depending on the hemisphere) outreaches.  What better time to nip into an Internet Cafe somewhere in the world and send a quick click on the keyboard with the message "Partnerships Change Lives!" along with your own partnership story in progress.  Heaven will tell the whole story but here on earth we all need all the encouragemnet we can get. My prayer for you and for myself is that we, as KKIers, would always be known as grateful partners.
